Just submitted for the card and the book. The card will satisfy most trucking purposes. They are particular about the paperwork. The book will probably come in 4 weeks, outside 6; maybe sooner if they aren’t busy. The card and my old passport will follow in separate mailings. I will scan the two documents when I get them so I have a record. Mailing that document to myself will put it on the mail server, a duplicate of the file on one of my cloud services. Belt and suspenders. I will keep my expired passport for proof of citizenship.
